Belarus: About holding a seminar with the tax administration of the PRC

The seminar was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Republic of Belarus

The Ministry of Taxes and Duties informs that an online seminar with representatives of the State Tax Administration of People's Republic of China (PRC) took place on November 14, 2023. The seminar was organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Republic of Belarus in order to deepen bilateral relations with the State Tax Administration of the PRC, to exchange best practices on the issue of organization by tax authorities of electronic interaction with individuals in terms of submission of declarations of income and property, interaction with government agencies and organizations to collect and receive information on income and property of individuals.

Head of the Main Department of Taxation of Individuals A.A. Kovalevsky and his colleagues presented the experience of the Belarusian tax service in this area, as well as familiarized themselves with the experience of Chinese colleagues in this area. The parties had a productive conversation, discussing the issues related to the organization of collection of data on income and property of individuals, their processing, as well as promising approaches and best practices of the two countries in this area.
